FIRE Europe is a publication about reaching financial independence and retiring early while living in Europe — European brokers, UCITS ETFs, national pension wrappers and cross-border tax, instead of the American defaults. FIRE content is mostly written for an American audience: 401(k)s, Roth IRAs, US brokers, US tax law. None of that maps cleanly onto life in Europe.

FIRE Europe is about doing it from here: across borders and tax regimes, with European brokers, ETFs (UCITS, not the US ones you can't even buy), pensions, and the realities of healthcare and residency on this side of the Atlantic.
